*SYNOPSIS*

Warning: This is not a story about fate or destiny. This is a story about pain, sorrow, and suffering. This is an impulsive whirlwind romance between two lovers that are not meant to be together. Theirs is not a world with sunshine and roses. Instead, their love blossoms in a secret world full of crime, violence, and death. Their story is about what can be born from nightmares.

Danielle “Danny” West is the daughter of Deuce West, President of the Hell’s Horsemen Motorcycle Club. A sweet and beautiful girl, she loses her way, searching for things that are always out of her reach. Erik “Ripper” Jacobs is the Sergeant of Arms in the Hell’s Horsemen. Once a man who always had a smile on his face, his life takes a turn for the worst when a tragedy befalls him, leaving him scarred and broken. During a midsummer night, Danny and Ripper’s paths cross, forever changing their lives. Hastily, their lust turns to love until another tragedy forces them apart. On a journey that is marred with ugliness and chaos, Danny and Ripper must discover if their unforeseen connection can find the beauty in their world.

This is Danny and Ripper’s story.

Everything has beauty. Even the ugly. Especially the ugly.
Because without ugly, there would be no beauty.

I don’t believe in fate. I firmly believe that life is what you make of it, that life will react to your actions, and that your final destination has nothing to do with Destiny but instead everything to do with the choices you make along the way.
With one exception.
Love. – Danny.

The prologue of UnBeautifully starts where Undeniable finished, where 21 year old Danny – Daughter of Deuce, the President of the Hell’s Horsemen Motorcycle Club – is 21 and clearly has a history with 35 year old Ripper – Sergent in Arms of the Hell’s Horsemen – which doesn’t appear to be of the warm and fuzzy kind. But Danny is currently in a relationship with ZZ, a Hell’s Horsemen ‘brother’, who has clear plans about his future with Danny. He gets down on one knee and proposes marriage. But before Danny answers, we’re shot back three years, to the start of Danny and Ripper’s emotional story.

Ours was the furthest thing from a picture-perfect romance, it was more of a car crash, a metal-bending, blood-splattered disaster that left no survivors, only bad memories and heartache.
But it was ours.
And because it was ours…I wouldn’t change a thing. – Danny.

When 32 year old Ripper picked 18 year old Danny up from her prom, little did they realise that the choices they would make that night would turn both their world’s on its head. Dealing with the aftermath of the events in Undeniable has left Danny struggling to cope, and with no-one to really lean on, she loses her way.

I’d lost something inside of me, something important, something special that had made me who I’d been, and slowly the colour had seeped out of my world. – Danny.

After a brutal encounter with Crazy Frankie in Undeniable, Ripper lost his eye and was left with several scars marring his face and body. But his scars run deep and he feels unworthy of love and finds himself in the destructive world of drink and depression. But then Danny enters his life.

“Man like me got no business with a girl like you. You’re nothin’ but fuckin’ Beauty and I’m a whole lot of fuckin’ ugly who’s already half way to hell.”

But he was wrong.

Everything has beauty. Even the ugly. Especially the ugly. Because without the ugly, there would be no beauty. Because without the beauty, we would not survive our pain, our sorrow, and our suffering. – Danny.

Danny and Ripper start an affair that quickly turns from lust to love. But Ripper is scared of what would happen to himself if Deuce were to find out as he has made it clear in the past that Danny is off limits. So Ripper makes a decision that although he thinks is for the best, ends up causing incredible amounts of pain for both himself and Danny and we watch how they both try and fail to come to terms with their actions.

And fear not Deuce fans, because in UnBeautifully we get two love stories for the price of one as we get POVs from not only Ripper and Danny, but also Deuce and Eva as they struggle to come together after Frankie’s reign of terror in Undeniable. It’s not all doom and gloom though, we have some major laughs with Kami and Cox as she calls him everything apart from“PUERTO RICAN!!”, and we get a tease of what’s to come in book three with Cage and Tegan.

“Motherfuck,” Deuce muttered, staring after him. “Ten bucks says he fucked that mouthy little asshole. Motherfuckin’ little fuck can’t keep it in his pants for shit. Cocksucker would fuck a hole in the wall. Probably has.” – Deuce.

Unbeautifully is a raw, gritty, emotion packed story of two people who broke the rules and found beauty and love in a world full of pain and suffering. Together they fought their destiny and made their own fate. It wasn’t easy, but then nothing worth having ever is. And what’s the one thing most worthy of fighting for? Love.

“All scars tell a story beautiful girl…And mine,” he said softly, grabbing my hand, trailing my Palm across his cheek and then his chest. “Tell the story of how I found you.” – Danny.
