This book!!!! Another new favourite of 2015. I’m kicking myself for taking so long to read it!!!
From the New York Times best-selling author of Beautiful Bastard, Beautiful Stranger, and Beautiful Player, Book Two of the brand-new Wild Seasons series that started with Sweet Filthy Boy – a story of friends, love, and lust.
Despite their rowdy hookups, Harlow and Finn don’t even like each other… which would explain why their marriage lasted only 12 hours. He needs to be in charge and takes whatever he wants. She lives by the Want-something-done? Do-it-yourself mantra. Maybe she’s too similar to the rugged fisherman – or just what he needs.
Tell me something, readers. Why, oh why, did it take me so long to read Dirty Rowdy Thing by Christina Lauren, after I fell so in love with Sweet Filthy Boy??? You know what? I don’t even really need you to tell me, because I know the answer to that question. It’s because I’m a complete and utter fool!
Before reading Dirty Rowdy Thing, being on a fishing boat would have sounded like a nightmare: fish smells, sea sickness, falling overboard…none of those things sound appealing, but I’ll tell you what…for Finn Roberts, it just might be worth it.
Damn, that guy was dirty! Can’t you just imagine the love hearts in my eyes right now? This book was incredibly sexy, but it was also packed full of story. There was the perfect amount of sex, humour, and tension, and a bunch of characters who it was impossible not to love.
From Mia and Alsel, Finn and Harlow, Lola and Oliver, to Not-Joe, Salvatore, Finn’s swoon-worthy family, and Harlow’s tight-knit family. They all had their place and held their own in this book, and I can’t wait to see more from them all in future books.
So don’t be like me and bury this book in your TBR for ages. Pull it out, dust it off, and devour all that is Finn, Harlow and the gang. You won’t regret it.
Lauren Billings (but everyone calls her Lo) has a Ph.D. in neuroscience and before she made writing her full-time job, would spend her days doing nerdy research-type things wearing a lab coat and goggles. She is silly Mommy to two littles, wife to one mountain biking homebrewing scientist, bestie to a shoe-stealer, and an unabashed lover of YA and romance.
Christina Hobbs (but you’ll always hear Lo call her PQ) used to spend her days in a junior high counseling office surrounded by teenagers. Married to the cutest boy in school, she has a thirteen year old daughter, is an unapologetic lover of boy bands and glitter, and also likes to steal Lo’s shoes.
